My Journey to Professor

Ministry has been a part of my entire adult life from being on the field in a church staff to researching, studying, and teaching in an academic setting. For the past few years academics and ministry have collided into one assignment as a professor. The primary courses I get to teach deal with church administration, church business administration, risk management, leading teams, and making disciples through the various ministry assignments God calls people across the world. I do not consider myself as an expert on every detail of each topic, but I do research and study to provide information to students, ministers and churches so they might lead healthy ministries that can reach and make disciples effectively.
While not always the most popular courses to take, students soon find the areas I teach are a necessary part of daily ministry practice. This blog will try to share insights from my research, ministry experience, and life experience as well as items to consider in church administration. My intent is to share information that helps people fulfill their calling for ministry in the local church and even grow in their relationship with Christ.
